The Leusden was a Dutch slave ship that tragically sank in 1738 off the coast of Suriname, taking the lives of many enslaved Africans. Finding the impact could provide new insights into the living conditions of the enslaved people on board and the navigation and trading methods of the time.<\/span><\/p>\r\n
