Clipper RTW : The champions awarded !

Curtain has closed last saturday on the longest virtual race.

Nearly a year of virtual navigation, no less than 15 legs, hign level experienced virtual skippers ... all the ingredients were there for a huge success!

The Virtual Clipper Round The World race 2011 2012 gathered more than 60,000 virtual players that have nothing released until the last step!

On this edition, no less than € 30,000 lots were put into play! We enjoyed the last rays of summer sun to mark the event for the awards ceremony held at the Sèvres Yacht Club, magnificent nautical sports station located on the outskirts of Paris on the banks of the Seine river.

Either virtual or real, sailing brings us together, and it is natural that the awards should take place close to the water. The team of Sèvres Yacht Club provided some dinghys, buoys and children and adults could play in the light airs under the sun.

The "stars" of virtual sailing were awarded in a warm and relaxed atmosphere, leaving us almost believe that the holidays are not over yet ...
