CLIPPER RTW : Leg 11 Starts on saturday !

Friends skippers,

All hands to battle for competitors of the clipper RTW!

The start of the 11th stage, originally scheduled for May 16 has been advanced by the Race Commitee, as of May 11!

As the 10th leg is still under way, the introduction of new courses in emergency may have caused some inconvenience in the night to competitors who were still sailing to Panama. This leg is now closed.

Now up to leg 11, from Panama to New York!

For technical reasons, and to allow everyone to prepare its navigation, the departure of the virtual race will be delayed and is scheduled for Saturday, May 12 at 11:00 UTC+2

The course: Panama - New York

This leg is about 1800 Nautical Miles long, Jamaica must be left to port side. A mark will be placed on the "Morant Point," at the East end of the island to symbolize the course to follow. The passage between the islands of Cuba and Haiti, then through the Bahamas archipelago is free.
