Way point didn't change colour

Dispite passing on the correct side of last marker ( in company of my other boat Atomic Custard ) it failed to turn green. Now I seem to be loosing places and distance to race end !!!! - I have checked my track in normal view and maximum zoom, and it is clearly on the eastern side of marker as prescribed. My other boat is progressing as normal and when checked with cursor is only a couple of miles away from Whoooosh !!!! - Whats going on ????

Hmmmmm must be another MP 'glitch' - marker now green and some 5000 places made up in a couple of mins !!!! - at this rate I may finish the race before I start it and beat myself to the finish line

It all depends where the actual validation point is (can be at 0, 90, 180, 270 degrees for example) to the mark. Until that moment, the distance is that from the boat to the mark, and from the mark to the next one, or the finish line. That explains the rapid change in distance and rankings around the buoys.

Thanks Diver, that would make sence even if it does 'spook' the pants off you when it happens. Give me an Atlantic/Pacific crossing any day LOLOL
